David Doneff, ESL Teacher San Mateo Adult School

Aiko is an amazing mindfulness teacher. I’ve been feeling disconnected from myself for a long time. Sessions with Aiko – and the other amazing people who participate – have started me on the path of reconnection. A corollary is that I’m learning how to live my life from a more authentic place which I hope will be more fulfilling and joyful. I’ve been trying to figure these things out for many years, and now I see how the work I’m doing is leading in the right direction. Aiko’s teachings also dovetail perfectly with the other ways I’m working on this. I feel that what resonates so strongly with me is that the meditations and talks she leads are about creating a space where we can be our authentic selves together, which is so rare in this hectic 21st century, and all the more needed during COVID.

Re-establishing Self Connection & Self Trust 6 Week Series (via zoom)

Mondays: Sept 19th - Oct 24th, 7:00 - 9:00pm

The intention of this 6 week series is to serve as a lab space to test out what happens when we bring back online our full selves… when we honor, respect and cherish our unique way of being, and follow the yearnings of the heart. Seeing the stark contrast between what emerges and what we are currently experiencing, is what nurtures the confidence to take risks to create change. And as these changes translate into a life that is more aligned with our values and wants, we get the evidence needed to trust that our way is the most reliable way to move from just surviving, to thriving.

Offered on a sliding scale donation of $375 - $300.
